INCOLOY 825(UNSN08825) STRIP

Nickel-Iron-Chromium-Molybdenum-Copper Alloy for Superior Acid and Chloride Corrosion Resistance
INCOLOY 825 strip is widely used for corrosion-resistant cladding, bellows, flexible connectors, gaskets and stamped components in chemical processing and pollution-control equipment. Its high chromium content improves resistance to oxidizing media, while molybdenum and tungsten contribute to excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride stress corrosion cracking.
As a professional Chinese nickel-based alloy manufacturer, we supply INCOLOY 825 in multiple product forms with stable chemistry, consistent mechanical properties, and flexible dimensional customization for global industrial users.
Typical supply range (custom sizes and tolerances available upon request):
Item | Range / Options | Notes |
Thickness | 0.1 – 3.0 mm | Cold-rolled strip; specify thickness tolerance if critical. |
Width | Up to 600 mm | Slitting available; define edge condition. |
Coil ID | 300 / 400 / 500 mm | Standard IDs; custom ID available by request. |
Coil weight | Up to 2000 kg | Depends on thickness and width. |
Edge | Slit edge / Deburred edge | Edge conditioning available for stamping/forming. |
Tolerance | Per ASTM/EN or as agreed | Define flatness/camber for precision parts. |
Delivery condition | Solution annealed (standard) | Pickled/bright depending on thickness/finish. |
Dimension definition: THK × WIDTH × COIL.
• Excellent resistance to sulfuric and phosphoric acids across wide concentration ranges
• Strong resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking and crevice corrosion
• Good resistance to reducing and oxidizing media; performs well in mixed acid systems
• Molybdenum and copper enhance resistance to reducing acids and pitting environments
• Titanium stabilization improves resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding
• Good fabricability and weldability for chemical process equipment
Element | Ni | Cr | Mo | Fe | Cu | Mn | Si | C |
