INCONEL 600 wire is supplied in coils or spools for springs, fasteners, weaving/mesh, and forming applications that require good oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance.

• Excellent oxidation resistance up to 1093°C (2000°F) in air and many industrial atmospheres
• Good resistance to carburization and nitriding environments
• Strong resistance to chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking (SCC)
• Good resistance to caustic alkalis and many organic/inorganic acids
• High nickel content provides resistance to reducing media and high-purity water corrosion
• Good fabrication and welding performance for demanding service equipment
