Nickel-Copper Alloy for Seawater, Hydrofluoric Acid & Reducing Media Service

MONEL 400 bar is a nickel-copper solid-solution alloy (UNS N04400) offering strong resistance to seawater and many reducing chemicals, together with good mechanical properties and machinability. It is widely used for shafts, valve stems, pump parts, fasteners, and marine hardware in corrosive service.

As a professional Chinese nickel-based alloy manufacturer, we supply MONEL 400 bar with stable chemistry, consistent mechanical properties, and flexible dimensional customization for global industrial users.

Key Characteristics

• Excellent corrosion resistance in flowing seawater and brackish water
• Outstanding resistance to hydrofluoric acid (HF) across wide concentrations
• Good resistance to alkalis, neutral salts, and many reducing media
• Resistant to stress corrosion cracking in most fresh and industrial waters
• High strength and toughness; remains ductile at subzero temperatures
• Can be strengthened by cold working; good fabrication and weldability
